I'm a software engineer who takes products from requirements to systems in production. Most of my time goes to the backend: TypeScript and NestJS, data models, APIs, queues and the architecture underneath them. I've also built with Python and FastAPI, with agent tooling like LangChain, LangGraph and MCP, and with Solidity for smart contracts. The fundamentals carry across stacks, so I adapt to whatever a team runs. I've built in agritech, fintech, web3 and gaming.

The work I'm best at is the part most teams postpone: spotting where a system's foundations will stop holding, making the case for fixing them, then doing the work. At ShareCARD that meant taking a production platform from requirements through architecture to a working MVP, then onboarding the team onto it. Multi-tenancy, a configurable workflow engine, offline-first sync and payments.

Outside of shipping code I write about technology, fitness and whatever I run into along the way. I'm looking for platform engineering work at the moment, remote or hybrid, and I'm open to relocating.
